East Hanney Neighbourhood Plan Front Cover

What is the Neighbourhood Plan?

The Plan is community led. It outlines a vision and provides policies that represent local perspectives. It enables influence over future planning matters.

A Neighbourhood Plan lets us ensure any future changes in the village align with our needs.

For the Plan to have influence it needs to receive a Yes vote.

Why it is important to Vote in favour of the Neighbourhood Plan

It gives our community a strong voice in shaping the future of our village. It means we can have influence on any new developments and ensure that they fit with the village and meet our needs.

The Plan includes some specific policies to protect important features of the village and to help address local concerns.

It helps address matters like the local environment and community needs.

If we don’t have a Neighbourhood Plan, we will have less control over what happens in East Hanney. Without an adopted Plan in place developers and planners may make decisions that do not reflect our communities needs and priorities. It is important that we Vote for the Plan, so that there is a Plan in place, enabling the community to have influence on the Future of our village.
