It has come to the Parish Council’s attention that a leaflet has been recently circulated by Bloor homes proposing a new development of 150 houses East of the A338, East Hanney.
It is the council’s understanding that there is currently sufficient land supply in the district.
The leaflet suggest that the Parish Council contributed towards the design of the plan. In reality the council were consulted as part of the legal process. The council reminded the developer that should they continue with the application that it should comply with the neighbourhood plan.
The council did not comment or make proposals on the design or inclusion of any amenities, as the consultation was purely informative by the developer.
The land is closely bordered by the proposed (SESRO) reservoir with land reserved for flood mitigation to the East and the scrapyard to the South.
Please take the opportunity to respond via the survey in the leaflet , however there will also be the opportunity to respond should the application proceed.
The council will represent the parish in regards to the needs and wants of the residents and welcomes your feedback via clerk@easthanneyparish.gov.uk so that it can understand residents preference.
Thank you
