To Members of the East Hanney Parish Council:

YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED to attend a meeting of the Parish Council

on Wednesday 12^th March 2025 at 7.30pm

to be held in the Olde Hanney Room, Hanney War Memorial Hall

for the purpose of conducting the following business:

 

Press and members of the public:

Members of the public wishing to address the Council during the formal meeting must make the Chairman aware of their intention before the meeting starts. Under the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, the public may be excluded whenever publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted. Members of the public wishing to record the meeting are asked to notify the Chairman of their intentions so that appropriate arrangements can be made for the recording, in accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders and Recording of Meetings Policy.

 

1. To receive apologies for absence

 

2. To receive any Declarations of Interest from Councillors relating to items on the agenda.

 

 

3.     To facilitate public participation with regard to items on the agenda.  Anyone wishing to address the Council will be given three minutes to do.  The public participation period shall not exceed 30 minutes.

 

4. To receive updates from District Councillor.

 

5. To receive updates from County Councillor.

 

6. To confirm the accuracy of the minutes of the last meeting of the Council.

13. To agree to buy a 1Tonne bag of shingle, one of 10mm and one of 20mm. – (Cllr McKechnie)

 

14. Discuss contacting Sovereign for a formal response on the issue of erosion of land behind Brookside – (Cllr Aram)

 

15. Agree plan for the litter pick – (Cllr McKechnie)

 

16. To agree a date to plant 400 trees – (Cllr Aram)

 

17. To agree where the new SID will be installed at A338 – (Cllr Green)

Fox	Fox has been installed. Retention to cover outstanding items – awaiting Kompan to the repairs as it guaranteed for 2 years.	Amount due on completion (£1230.77+VAT). Clerk emailed Kompan to meet and go over repairs – waiting for response.
Trim trail/gym	To agree the location along the western edge of Kings Leases	Revised quote £9557.55 – all agreed to go ahead. Cllr McKechnie will sort and send over quote to Clerk.
Defibrillator	Awaiting installation following building works.	We have received all relevant information to register on WebNos/The Circuit. Cllr McKechnie will register.
Sports Pavilion	To agree to engage with an architect	Two architects will be asked to quote, Cllr Kirk will provide a letter to David Cookson with relevant questions.
